Technical stuff
When you click on the thumbnails, most of them are in
full 5megapixel resolution, which might take a while to download and will most probably be larger than your screen. Your browser should be able to resize it or you can paste them in your favorite image editing program.
The pictures were recompressed using
ImageMagick's convert utility to save space -- the camera's built in
JPEG compressor made them larger than they needed to be.
All pictures were taken with a
Sony DSC-V1, most with default automatic settings. A few are in infrared. In the caves, I often used long exposures to reveal detail that
otherwise would be too dark to see.
