Paper for the 4th Annual PKI R&D Workshop
I wrote a paper describing the techniques behind our "Kapanga" project (now known as Tempest ViaCert). It describes tools main features, the protocols nuts and bolts of the idea and the horrible hacks, kludges and contortions we had to go about in implementing them.
The paper was accepted for publication at the
4th Annual PKI Research Workshop, to be held at the
National Institute of Standards and Technology in April, 2005.
Below you can get the draft paper, the comments from the reviewers and the final version. Considering that I wrote the paper in a hurry (I almost missed the deadline) and the fact that I sent it as a draft, the slightly above average rating that I got and the nice reviews despite all the paper's shortcomings (incluing my embarassing typos and gramar errors) were beyond my expectations.
Your comments, criticisms and ideas are also welcome.
